Johnny Goes On A Date

Today's installment of the legacy begins with Johnny. I've recently made Johnny's future wife. Her name is Mirabelle Worthington. Drumroll please for the big reveal . . .

Introducing Mirabelle!

She sure knows how to take a picture, huh? Mirabelle loves the outdoors, just like Johnny, and is a neat freak. I'm still deciding what career she'll pursue. Maybe she'll be an astronaut or something equally as cool.

Anyways, after meeting Mirabelle at the local neighborhood garden and taking a friendly selfie with her, he decided to ask her out on a date.

Talk about awkward, and Mirabelle knows it. Apparently their hostess is Mirabelle's mother, Sasha. How embarrassing. Looks like this date isn't off to a great start.

Soon the young couple was seated and they picked out their meal. It's mother approved :D

These two really can't enjoy a dinner to themselves can they? At their neighboring table sits Johnny's Uncle Michael and Aunt Jane. I guess with a family this big you're bound to run into a few Landgraabs.

Even though Sasha continued to hover, the date was going smoothly. They loved their food, and talked all evening. To Johnny's delight, he found that they had a lot in common, and knew this was the girl for him.

As the night was coming to a close, Johnny knew he had to make his move if he wanted Mirabelle to be his, so he went right in for a big . . . hug? Really Johnny, just a hug? You've got some learning to do.

Uh oh, that's his worried face, what's Johnny going to do?

I'm so proud of my boy! He made the move! And Mirabelle looks pleasantly surprised, if i do say so myself. Right after the kiss, Johnny asked Mirabelle to be his girlfriend, and she had no delay in her answer. She said yes.

And so this romantic evening ends with two happy little love birds, and their selfie to announce their blossoming new love. Aren't they the cutest <3

Let's Meet The 4th Generation & Who Will Be The Heirs

Welcome Back!

I'm now going to introduce you to the children, and some teens, of the fourth generation. Let's start with Giovani's kids shall we?

This is Johnny. He's the oldest of the three, and will be continuing Giovani's line.

This is Claire. She may or may not be sitting on a toilet . . . sorry.

And this is Giovani's youngest, Olivia. Aren't they all cute???


Next we move into Gwyneth's children.

First of the twins is Megan. 

Then comes Rachel, who will carry on Gwyneth's line.

Next is Edward's child.

This is Delilah. She's going to be a beauty, i can tell. She'll, of course, be carrying on Edward's line.


Now we move into Michael's two girls.

This is Velma. She is the youngest of the two.

This is Margaux, the oldest of the two. She'll be carrying on Michael's line.


Next we go to Julianna's two kids.

Say hello to Miranda. She'll be carrying on Julianna's line. She knows how to pose for a picture, doesn't she?

So, next is Maxwell, but i want to explain something. I was curious about this update they did for the sims, where there aren't any barriers. Maxwell was born a boy, and with my curiosity about the update growing, when Maxwell became a teen i set his preferences to Feminine, to see what would happen, you know. So, i'm going to change his name to Maxine.

Now we move onto Simon's child.

This is Wess. He'll be carrying on Simon's line.


Next are Wells' two children.

This is oldest, Oliver. He'll be carrying on Wells' line. 

This is Autumn, the youngest. 


And finally we meet Harper's child, Skyler. 

I just realized we have a lot of redheads in this generation . . . i think i got a little too excited about adding gingers to the family. Oh well, it'll fade in a generation or two.

The Third & Biggest Generation Takes Root

It's the end of recapping, YAY!!!

 To start off this huge generation, we'll be following birth order, starting with Malcolm's children, Giovani and Maximus. Then Vivian's children, Gwyneth, Edward, and Michael  then Laura's, Julianna, Simon and Wells, and finally Eddie's children, Harper and Miles.

Giovani, The First of The Third Generation

Giovani started out the third generation of the Landgraabs. At this point i needed a little break to go create a sim from scratch, and thus my sim-self was born. Drumroll please, for the fabulous Kyra! I think i did a pretty great job. 

And so, i made sim me marry Giovani, for kicks and giggles. I mean, how could i not take part in this brilliant legacy?

The wedding was a big celebration, with the whole Landgraab family in attendance!

Giovani works as a cook, while i pursue a job in business. We have three beautiful children, Johnny, Claire, and Olivia. 

This is where it gets a little tricky, because none of the third generation has died yet, and have just started the fourth generation. I have the game set so that only the unplayed households will age while I'm with my current house. So while i'm over here with Giovanni and my sim self, the main house isn't aging. So, i'll be switching back and forth a lot between households after this chapter, because this is the last of the recapping. 

Maximus

The thing about Maximus is that i felt like the family tree was getting too big, so i moved him into his own lonely house and switched him to unplayed, leaving him to die of old age. Which he did, yesterday in fact. Grave is still to be found, cause i don't know where the heck it is. Oh well. 

Since i have no pictures of Maximus, he looked like Giovani, but with black hair. 

Instead, here is a picture of Grimmy trying to get fit.

Wild Gweneth

Gwyneth (it's going to autocorrect, sorry), was the third child of Vivian. She often took after her mother, as she and her brother Michael ran the notorious club "DJ's and Dancers". Together, the two ruled the dance floors and spent their young years partying it up. Eventually, Gwyneth met sports star John, and they got married. She pursued her dream of being a comedian, starting out in her favorite bars and making her way up to the top. The two settled down in a modern mansion, and had twins, Megan and Rachel.

DJ Michael

Michael's easy going attitude and love of music influenced his growing skills in DJ-ing. He worked for tips at clubs, but failed to bring in the same amounts of money his sister did. 

Michael fell in love with a married woman, named Jane, whom he met at a club he was working. Eventually he was able to convince Jane to leave her faithful husband Brandon, and the two were married.   Michael and Jane have had two girls, Margaux and Velma. The low income makes it hard for the family to provide for the girls, but they one their parents and try their best to succeed.

Boring Edward

Edward was actually the first of Vivian's children, but the last to get married. He met Keira (the game made the name not me, so there are two different Kyra's on the family tree, spelled differently of course), through his sister Gwyneth. Keira was John's younger sister. He instantly fell madly in love with her, and the two married. They shared a desire not to have children, which was fine with me because obviously this family is HUGE. I, on the other hand, wanted to continue the lineage, so i made them have one child. Her name is Delilah (she may be my favorite). I haven't played this household in like a month, so i don't remember what their jobs are. I'll get back to you on that one.

And that concludes Vivian's children, now on to Laura's! Yay!

(I could be using this time to actually play the game, sigh.)

First Comes Julianna

 Meet Julianna! She;s the inheritor of the Landgraab lot, and mediator between family members. If you can recall, she rekindled the relationship between her mother Laura and Aunt Vivian. She's the family member you go to when you want to throw a huge get together, or need a shoulder to cry on. She took after her grandmother's love for music, and taught herself how to play the piano, as well as looking after Jessica's prized Red Grand.  She also founded a club for all the Landgraab women, called "Girl's Night Out".                                                              

Julianna eventually married Keegan, and they have two children, Miranda and Maxwell.

The Twins; Simon and Wells

Simon, the party boy, was friends with everybody growing up, so it's no wonder that he charmed all the girls he met. Eventually, he married aspiring mixologist, Sophie. Sophie isn't too fond of children either, and so they only have one child, Wess.

Wells' story is a little more interesting. He was very inspired by his Uncle Eddie and Aunt Jill, so he followed their well paved path to knowledge. He joined the scientist career, and hopes to make contact with cousin Miles' mother some day.

Wells spent a lot of time in the lab, but that didn't stop him. He had a long term girlfriend, Annabelle, who he married after they discovered that they were expecting. Soon after they were married Oliver was born, followed shortly by little Autumn.

Finally we arrive at Eddie and Jill's Children, Harper and Miles.

Note: By the time Miles was born, Harper had already gotten married and had her first child.

As discussed before, Eddie and Jill were consumed in knowledge, which sometimes left them blind. Harper grew up at the parties with her cousins Gwyneth and Micael, and spent her days celebrating youth. 

Harper did settle down eventually, and she married Reese.

Together they have only one child as of right now, and her name is Skyler.

Last, But Not Least, Miles

Meet Miles, who you might mistake for a young Eddie.

Miles took all his looks from his father, as clearly obvious here. In the game he's just aged up to a young adult, and is waiting for his sweet heart to graduate high school so they can get married. How sweet is young love? He is growing up in the main house, being raised by his cousin Julianna, as strange as that sounds please keep in mind he was born right before the death of his father. Miles' niece Miranda is only a few days older than him. 

Miles is very smart, and intends on becoming a doctor.

The Second Generation

Malcolm Langraab- The True Landgraab

In my version of the game, Malcolm turned out to be a bit of a jerk, but it happens you know. As i said before, Malcolm married Bella Goth.

Malcolm, the "romantic" that he is, proposed to Bella in the kitchen, surrounded by dirty dishes. I still don't understand why she said yes, i mean who would say yes when the dishes are so dirty that there are green fumes coming off them. But she did anyways, and they got married and it was sweet.

If you haven't figured it out yet, a goal of mine with this family was to take a picture of every single wedding. So far i've been successful, except one, which i had to get a picture of when they renewed their vows.

Soon after their wedding they had two boys. Giovani and Maximus. Why those particular names? Well, that's the game's doing. I was away with the main house, aka Jessica, when the both the babies were born, so the game decided to give them those names. I thought to myself, "Eh, why not". And so they were called Giovani and Maximus!

Bella and Malcolm's marriage lasted until their deaths. Though it was not the most stable, they did stay true to their vows. Bella died before Malcolm, of old age as expected, and was buried in the family cemetery. After Bella's death Malcolm went through a late life crisis, and died prematurely of overexertion. Seasoned players might know that in elderly sims, one of the main causes of death by overexertion is too much woohoo, and such was Malcolm's embarrassing fate.

Vivian - The First of Jessica's Legacy

Vivan Landgraab was the first child of Geoffrey and Jessica. I just realized, going through my pictures, that i have none of Vivian. She never got married, so there is no standard wedding picture. Vivian was a free spirit, so she never really settled down. Vivian attended all the raging parties in Windenburgh, and had three children. First was Edward, and then Michale and Gwyneth, who have a different father than Edward. The little family moved around a lot, i'd like to say it was because Vivian was a free spirit, but really it was because i was never quite satisfied with the houses i built for them. 

To make up for the lack of pictures of Vivian, here's a really funny one of Michael at his cousin's wedding. Her name is Harper, and you'll meet her a little later.

Vivian died peacefully of old age, and was buried in the ever growing family cemetery.

Next Comes Laura

Laura Landgraab was the second born child of Jessica and Geoffrey. Unlike sister Vivian, she was much more well behaved, and a bit of a home body. She went on to inherit the Landgraab mansion, which by the way is never the same house because i was always bulldozing and rebuilding, so when i say mansion or main house, i really mean the original Landgraab lot. Any who, Laura got married to Jack Nixon; his twin sister Jill will come up in a bit. Laura kept her last name, as tradition in my Legacy, and Jack took her last name instead and became Jack Landgraab. Jack had big dreams of the business career, and that's what he pursued. Laura and Jack had 3 children as well. First was Julianna, then twins Simon and Wells.

Laura was good friends with Jessica, despite her grilled cheese eating when her mother died -_- .

Once her mother died, Laura decided it was time she try and be as successful as her, and got herself a job as a secret agent. She excelled at her work, and put out a great example for her children. She did' let them hang around with their aunt Vivian, in fear of her wild side rubbing off on them. Poor Vivian.

Julianna found later on in life that she didn't agree with her mother's decision to distance Vivian from the family. She used her good spirit to convince her mother to let Vivian move in with them when she became very old, and by very old i mean literally a single sim day from death.

Laura passed away only recently, of old age. She was buried in the new cemetery, which is a public lot. I got tired of moving all the graves to the house. Jack died long before Laura, but is buried along side his beloved wife. 

And Finally Eddie

Eddie Landgraab was the youngest of Jessica and Geoffrey's 3 children. Eddie was very smart from childhood, and became a very successful scientist. He dedicated his life to knew knowledge and discoveries. He eventually found the time to settle down with his high school sweet heart, Jill Nixon (Told you you'd meet her soon).

The two lived very happily together, and Jill shared Eddie's passion for knowledge. She became a very famous Doctor. The couple had one child. Can you guess? Yup! It's Harper! Harper Landgraab grew up a little alone because her parents were always very busy, and as such she turned out a bit like Vivian, but was still pretty well behaved.                                                                                                 

Jill died eventually of old age, and Eddie outlived her (talk about good genes). In his old age, something bizarre happened. He got updated by aliens, and i thought nothing of it, because i knew males could conceive an alien child if abducted, but i didn't know that elders could too, i thought they were exempt. So i was all, geese, why aren't you dead yet? Turns out he was carrying a little alien baby. Talk about crazy, right. So then along came little Miles, who you'll see going through life in his human disguise. Right after, no joke, immediately after giving birth to Miles, Eddie died of old age, and joined his wife in the family cemetery. Miles turned out to look a lot like his father. :'(
